Lazy days!

NZ Fur Seal catching 40 winks on the rocks at the end of the Kaikoura Peninsula,

swimming with the dolphins

Well a highlight of my recent travels has been swimming with the Dusky Dolphins in the Pacific Ocean off the Kaikoura Coast of the South Island - what an experience. These playful, inquisitive, acrobatic creatures were a delight to be amongst. Estimated to be between 200-300 in the pod we spent some time swimming in amongst them and then photographing their antics from the boat

The majestic West Coast

Suitable for assisted wheelchair travel the Lake Mathieson track, near Fox Glacier, into Jetty Viewpoint gives some stunning views of Aoraki/Mt Cook and a good insight into the rich diversity of plants and bird life of the native forests of this region

Dare Devil

If you have a streak of the dare devil in you then a bungy jump may be right up your alley. Full harnesses are available at the Kawarau Bridge Bungy jump, For persons with a disability suitability to jump is assessed on an individual basis by the jump master on the day.
